Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are working with an established Logistics/Distribution business to recruit a Senior Key Accounts Manager too proactively support the Operations Director and overseeing the activity of the Key Account Managers.

The Senior Key Account Manager directs and optimises the business most valued customers. Providing effective communication, leadership motivation, training and development in line with the requirements of the business.


Manage and maintain high-level accounts, including monitoring sales performance and promoting engagement
Manage and lead the team to successfully meet customer Service Level Agreements in accordance with standard operating procedures & safe systems of work
Ensure business required targets are achieved within set timeframes
Effectively plan and manage workloads of the team and ensure that work is delegated to enable the team to achieve performance targets
The Person

A good knowledge of the Freight Forwarding industry and understanding of the market context
Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadline
Ability to show an understanding of analytics & useful insights that enable acquisition & retention
Good people management, leadership & influential skills
Effective communication skills (verbal & written)
Excellent attention to detail
