Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are recruiting a Customer Co-ordinator for a rapidly growing private hospital in Leeds.

Daily responsibilities

Be the main point of contact with patients in supporting their experience
Support and develop the front of house team in their work to optimise the client care
experience
Preparing for consultation, admission, and discharge appointments by ensuring you are
familiar with the case and the payment method for the procedure carried out
Support the Surgeons by communicating with the client during the consultation, admission,
and discharge process to ensure that admission and discharge processes run smoothly
Ensure effective communication takes place between the FOH team and surgical team to
ensure the smooth running of the day
Diary management
Experience and confidence in dealing with difficult situations, you will be the initial point of
contact
Manage the practice debt; liaising with insurance companies to ensure claims are
processed in a timely manner. Maintaining regular contact with customer to ensure they
are being proactive in their communication with the insurance company. Maintaining a
record of ‘bad debt’ and actioning debt recovery process when required.
Support the Manager as and when required and with events at the hospital
Provide cover for the Managers duties when they are absent either on vacation or
fulfilling their other duties
Store, archive and destroy documents in a timely fashion in accordance with practice
protocols and GDPR
Work constructively with all supplier to the company
Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. It is your duty to report
anything which may affect your ability to achieve this to the Clinical Director
You are required to keep a clean driving license and ensure that you are insured to carry
out business duties using your own car, claiming expenses in line protocols and following
guidelines to ensure that these duties are carried out safely
Always work efficiently and safely in accordance with practice policies and HSE guidelines
Work within your capabilities and qualifications and ensure that you bring to the attention
of the Clinical Director / Client Advocate any areas for improvement

The Person

Ideally you should have client facing experience
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Ability to handle difficult situations
Organised and proactive
